I have never bought a home. Where do I start?
Start with a conversation. We will explain the steps in plain language, help you understand what you can comfortably afford, and connect you with a trusted lender for a pre-approval. After that, we start looking at homes together.
How do I find out what my home is worth?
Online estimates are only a rough guess. We look at recent sales near you, the condition of your home and current buyer demand, then give you a realistic price range along with an estimated net sheet showing what you would walk away with. Just ask.
Do I need to be pre-approved before I look at homes?
It is not required to start looking, but we strongly recommend it. A pre-approval tells you your price range and shows sellers you are a serious buyer when you make an offer. If you do not have a lender, we can introduce you to one we trust.
How long does it take to sell a home in the Sacramento area?
It depends on your price, your neighborhood and the market at the time. Once an offer is accepted, closing commonly takes about 30 to 45 days. We will give you an honest timeline for your situation when we talk.
How are real estate agents paid?
Agent compensation is not set by law and is fully negotiable. Before you sign anything, we will explain in writing exactly how we are paid so there are no surprises.
